I was eager to become an active member of April and take part in its action next to the public institutions and private stakeholders, already subject to the ever present lobying of software editors and PC makers. Its action at the same time pragmatic and educative on free software business models appears to me essential so that companies willing to expand their business into Free-related world are able to deal equally in front of major financial means used by "proprietary" stakeholders. In this era of financial turmoil, where fundamentals are questioned, this extraordinary free software phenomenon,  arisen from a few pioneer spirits, might be, let's be dreamy, the beginning of a new development model for mankind.
